MG GS SUV Review, Luxury and Elegance Design

The MG was well known for its sports vehicles, but today we can see different kinds of vehicle from them, for example, modern crossovers. Back in 2013, the MG GS SUV for introduced for the first time as concept vehicle and then its name was MG CS. This year, we can wait for the official debut of this crossover and what is certain is that will without doubt offer good engines and performance, and also a nice design, both inside and outside as well as several tech features. The exterior design of the upcoming MG GS SUV is all, just not cheap. So, the appearance of this model is very nice with the sharp lines, especially at the front and this fact will give the vehicle very aggressive impression. Already mentioned sharp lines at the front will have extremely angular cuts and dips that lend a sense of advanced sportiness. The front fascia will contain thin headlights as well as C-shaped lower daylight running bulbs, while the skid plates can be seen under the nose and tail. The front grille of the forthcoming MG GS SUV will be upper slim as we can have in large MG6 and also in the smaller MG3. The front bumper of the MG GS will be well shaped and here we can see air intakes that help engine cooling and also fog lights that improve road vision. This crossover will ride on nice alloy lightweight wheels, 18 inches large. Furthermore, the chassis will follow modern trends and it will be made of lightweight materials such as aluminum and this fact will improve consumption of fuel.

The interior design of the MG GS SUV will be better and improved compared to the MG 6 model. The cabin will be able to accommodate up to 5 passengers, with the back bench flop down for enlarged cargo space. The steering wheel is very modern, with three spokes and with a lot of functions. The dashboard will be completely new, compared to the others MG models, and here we can see 6.0 inch LCD display mounted with updated infotainment system for better entertainment of the passengers. Other interior features are a rearview camera, satellite navigation, Bluetooth smartphone integration, dual zone climate control, and many others.

According to MG, their upcoming model, named MG GS SUV will be powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline, 4-cylinder engine that will be capable of producing 160 hp as well as 184 pound-feet of torque. MG will also offer engine options that are already released in China 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder that will be capable of generating 215 hp as well as 258 pound-feet of torque. We can also expect to see another engine, 1.9-liter diesel with 148 hp and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine will be borrowed from the MG 6. The power will be routed to the front wheels trough the standard a six-speed manual transmission system. In the higher trim levels, all-wheel drive will be available. Optional gearbox will be a seven-speed DCT.

As we wrote in the intro, this remarkable MG GS SUV will hit the dealerships by the June of 2016 and it will be offered at fantastic prices. So the starting price of this model will be around $18.000 and you have to admit that for the vehicle like this, the price is low. Main competition of this model will be Nissan Qashqai and KIA Sportage and we can expect a great battle between them.
