Peugeot 2008 2017 Review, Body and Innovations

The Peugeot 2008 was launched for the first time in 2013, and it was a well-selling vehicle with more than 500,000 sold units globally as of February 2016. However, this model receives some critics, especially for it’s not such a comfortable ride. Because of that, the Peugeot Company try to fix that with a mid-cycle facelift. So, what we can expect from the approaching Peugeot 2008 2017? First of all, it is essential to understand that the exterior design of the recent model will not be changed too much. On the other hand, we can anticipate some redesigns in the interior design. These redesigns inside the cabin are primarily related to the addition of some latest high-tech features. Also, the comfort is a bit better while the engine capabilities will remain the same and that is a good thing.

Peugeot 2008 2017 – Body and Innovations:

The exterior design of the forthcoming model is pretty much the same as before. However, we can notice some redesigns. Let’s start from the front fascia. Also, the “Peugeot” lettering and their lion emblem are located in the grille instead of the engine hood. The headlights of the latest model will receive a black background to improve aggressiveness of the vehicle. Furthermore, the taillights have a lion claw-like LED pattern. Besides taillights, the rear end of the car remains pretty much the same as before. Small rounded fog lights are integrated into the front bumper, and the LED technology will power it. Also, here we can notice and very large air intakes that will serve to improve engine cooling. The anticipated model will hit the dealerships with the alloy wheels size 17 inches.

Inside the cabin, the resulting Peugeot 2008 2017 will be the same as before when it comes to styling, but we can expect improvements in the high-tech department. The new features inside the cabin are Apple CarPlay as well as MirrorLink smartphone connectivity for the infotainment system. Both can be accessed via the 7.0-inch touchscreen display located at the center of the dash. Everything else will remain the same, so we can expect leather wrapped seats and wrapped steering wheel, but just in the higher trim level. The luggage space is now improved so that we can expect 60 liters more space this time.
